TEAM STANDINGS
9.1 Standings
League and Conference standings for all purposes shall be determined by the number of competitive points won by the member teams.
9.2 Ties and Tie Breakers
For all purposes, in the event that two (2) or more teams possess an equal number of competitive points, the standings of the teams that are tied shall be determined as follows:
A. The head to head record between the teams involved;
B. The team with the most wins in League competition;
C. The greater goal difference (goals for minus goals against) between the teams in the League games played between them;
D. The greater goal difference (goals for minus goals against) in the total League competition;
E. Fewest goals allowed in all League games; and
F. A coin toss.
The tie breakers listed above shall be applied, in order, until one (1) tie breaker breaks the tie between all of the teams which are tied at the time.
In the event of a tie between two (2) or more teams who have played an unequal number of games, the tie shall then be broken based on each respective team’s winning percentage.
Winning percentage is the team’s total points divided by twice the number of games played.
