Coach: Ryan Frew
Team: NH Jr. Monarchs
Coach Frew pushed his team to an undefeated January, going 6-0-1 and in the process, clinched their 6th consecutive playoff appearance. The team's last loss was to the Western Conference's powerhouse Apple Core team on December 11th.
Coach Frew is the longest tenured coach in the league, being the team's only bench boss since the team's 2003 admission to the league. As the face of the Monarch's organization, Ryan serves the league well both on and off the ice. He is a perennial All Star Coach, his teams have fared well at the National Tournament and contributes actively to the governance of the league.
Team: Syracuse Stars
A Syracuse veteran, Devon had a big January posting 11 points in 7 games as the Stars went a respectable 5-1-0-1 for the month.
This 17 year old from Lacona, NY registered 2 power play goals in the process, while spending a meager 6 minutes in the box.
Player: Brian Morgan
Team: Junior Bruins
Morgan had a great month of January putting up 18 points in just six games. He had 8 goals and 10 assists during that stretch and helped his team to a 5-0-1 record. He also scored the game winning goal in the Future’s Game on All Star Monday. Morgan is in his second year with the team and is emerging as not only a top player his age but also a top player in the league. A season ago he had 26 points in 40 league games and he is on pace to more than double those totals.
He now has 48 points in 30 league games played which puts him as the 9th leading scorer in the league as one of the league’s youngest players. He and teammate Frankie Vatrano are the only two ‘94’s in the top 10 in league scoring.

Team: NH Jr. Monarchs
The Monarchs have one of the top goaltending tandems in the league. TJ Bowse and Tyler Ingerson shared duties in January as the team posted a league best 6-0-1-0 record for the month .
TJ Bowse started between the pipes for the Monarchs 4 times last month going 3-0-1. He posted a stingy 1.47 GAA with a .950 save percentage in January. Ty Ingerson was undefeated in 3 games with a 1.76 GAA and a .949 save percentage.
For the season, Bowse and Ingerson rank 4th and 5th among goalies with 500 or more minutes and have virtually identical stats...Bowse at 2.16 GAA, .929% save percentage and Ingerson at 2.17 & .931
