Coach: Henry Lazar
Team: Apple Core
Coach Lazar led his team to a perfect 10-0 record in the month of October. Apple Core currently sits a point behind Western Conference leader Brewster with 4 games in hand. Henry is well known throughout the US Junior Hockey fraternity. His successes include winning his first National Junior Title in 1996 and the Junior Triple Crown in 2003. Besides having great success at the Junior Level, Henry also coaches St. Mary's High School in Manhassett , NY and holds the record for most wins as a coach in the State of New York with over 500 and counting, including 12 New York State High School Championships. With the experience that Henry brings to the rink, his players not only improve their skill level but become students of the game. Coach Lazar takes the most pride in placing over 120 players in top Colleges and having 4 alumni currently playing in the NHL with more to come.
Team: Jersey Wildcats
A strong start to the season has allowed Andrew to lead all defensemen in scoring in the league with 12 goals, 12 assists which is also good for second overall among all players. This 1992 birth defenseman is a 2nd year veteran from Livingston, NJ that is coming into his own and emerging as one of the League's top defensemen averaging 1.41 points per game.. Andrew has chipped in on the Wildcats power play in a big way scoring 6 power play goals and 7 power play assists in 17 games. Andrew is a big part of the Wildcats team's offense and the importance of his timely goals can not be overstated.

In October, Connor posted 13 points in 6 games (3 G, 10 A). Highlights include a 4 point performance in a 5-4 OT win vs. Makysmum on October 4th (Game tying goal, assist on game winning goal). 2 point game including game winning assist vs. NH Monarchs on October 10th (4-2 Final). A second 4 point game vs. Valley, also on October 10th (10-2 Final) which included the game winning goal. Leen was also phenomenal on the penalty kill and on special teams in general, collecting 4 points in odd man situations.

Team: Junior Bruins
This 1993 goalie from Niskayuna, NY is off to a great start in his rookie campaign. In October, Colin posted a 1.24 GAA and a .952 SV%. He also pitched a shutout on October 3. Overall, he is currently leads all goalies in the league in GAA (1.80), save percentage (.937) and shutouts (2). That play in net has helped lead the Bruins to a 13-2-2 record as they sit just one game out of first place in the Eastern Conference.
